Walked in, guy helped me find what I needed in 30 seconds, paid and walked out. I speak Spanish and he helped me in English. Not sure what the problem is with other reviews lol.

Happened upon this quintessential hardware store while vacationing in FL and wishing there were like this one nowadays. First, they actually had the ingredients to fix things and the staff knowledgeable to help navigate that process. Second, they had really hard to find and very well made staple items for the home not just the newest, cheap gadget. Finally, the customer service was top notch. From the moment I walked in and was immediately and warmly greeted until I left the store with sincere well wishes for a good day, I was continually impressed with the availability of service, the knowledge of the employees and the patience of the employees. I witnessed more than one very rude and very impatient customer in my time there and the poise and professionalism of the staff was noteworthy!!! Great place, great staff, great experience!! Highly recommend!!!

I visited several times while working on a job in Miami Beach. Very convenient. This is a full service hardware store where you tell them what you need and they take you to the location. They had everything I ever needed while performing the work over a the month period. Opens at 7am. Free parking in rear, paid street parking in front.

Guillermo the owner is a fantastic individual, who has helped me on so many occasions, that I can’t keep track anymore. He is knowledgeable, personable, and committed to great customer service. This hardware store is a gem. A little more than a year ago I purchased an art deco period house in Miami Beach and began a major year+ renovation project. I spent endless hours looking for what I needed at an Ace Hardware store in South Beach, or driving an additional hour round trip to go to a Home Depot in other parts of greater Miami, until I found Central Hardware. Central Hardware soon became my go-to one-stop hardware store. The team there is knowledgeable and helpful, and while the store does not look particularly large from the street, it is well stocked with floors full of hardware goods, a complete paint department, and a wide-ranging inventory that a shopper might not expect in a neighborhood hardware store. There is also a large public parking lot right out the back door, which is the best way to enter and exit the store. I have done a few spot-checks on items to compare them with a couple of other stores, and found Central Hardware's pricing to be very competitive. For overall selection, assistance, pricing, convenient location in the middle of Miami Beach, ease of parking, and the neighborhood feel of the store, Central Hardware has become my preferred local source for most of my supplies and tools.
